MECC organizes the ‘Our Environment and Summer’ activities to raise children’s awareness

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, in collaboration with Hayat Plaza Complex, has launched the ‘Our Environment and Summer’ activities for children, which will take place from July 25 to August 17, 2024. The aim is to raise children’s awareness about the importance of preserving their natural environment.

The activities included a variety of interactive events and educational plays, as well as agricultural workshops where children learned how to plant and care for plants. The program also featured interactive sessions led by environmental experts who discussed the importance of natural resources and ways to preserve them.

The activities also included educational recreational activities such as environmental games and competitions that encouraged children to think about how to protect the environment in innovative and fun ways.

These activities are part of the Ministry’s efforts to instill values of sustainability and love for nature in the younger generation from an early age, contributing to the creation of strong connections between children and their environment. The events have been met with great appreciation from both the children and their parents, who expressed their happiness with participating in activities aimed at educating and raising awareness among the young about their vital role in protecting the Earth.

Through these activities, the ministry aims to build a generation that is aware of and understands the importance of the environment, capable of taking positive steps to preserve it and ensure its sustainability for future generations.
