Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Launches “Bee’ah” Application

His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, inaugurated this morning the electronic application “Bee’ah”, which comes within the framework of the digital transformation carried out by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change for all its various services provided to the public.

During the inauguration process, His Excellency listened to a detailed explanation of the services provided by the application to individuals and companies who deal with the Ministry’s services, which includes all the Ministry’s services currently available on the website, as part of the Ministry’s celebration of Qatar Environment Day.

In this context, Noura Al-Ammari, Head of the Applications Section at the Information Systems Department at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, stressed that the application is characterized by a design and technical style, which allows easy and smooth navigation between services, and gives individuals and companies a degree of security when browsing, by obliging users to register through the National Authentication System when executing transactions.

She pointed out that the application is the first electronic application of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, and it also includes all the ministry’s services currently available on the website, noting that the application classifies services into 3 sectors: the environmental affairs sector, the nature reserves sector, and the climate change sector, serving companies and individuals.

She noted that the application provides various services to the corporate sector, including environmental assessment and permits, environmental monitoring and inspection services, chemical services, refrigeration and ozone services, hazardous waste services, radiation device services, radioactive materials services, radiation work field services and radioactive sources services, and also provides important services to individuals, the most important of which are booking winter camps, falcon registration service, cabins and nature reserves service, recovery of winter camp insurance, registration as an environmental volunteer, in addition to a main service available only in the electronic application. Under the name “RASED”, it is an interactive service with the public and allows them to report environmental violations by attaching a photo of the violation and sending it through the electronic application.

She explained the possibility of companies and individuals requesting services, clearing transactions, suggestions, complaints, observations, follow-up requests and other services through the Ministry’s website or the electronic application for smart devices “Bee’ah” or communicating with the unified call center over the phone.

She stressed that one of the objectives of the electronic application came to raise the Ministry’s electronic services to a higher level by providing advanced technological solutions that help in the digital transformation process in Qatar, which is one of the main pillars of Qatar Vision 2030, and also comes to support the development process pursued by the Ministry for excellence in providing services and making them available to be accessible to individuals with ease, anywhere and time.
