Ministry of Environment participates in the eighth edition of the Tarsheed Carnival
The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, represented by the Public Relations and Communication Department, Environmental Awareness Section, participates in the eighth edition of the Tarsheed Carnival. The event, held under the theme “In Collaboration with Nature,” took place from January 30 to February 7 at the Kahramaa Park.
This participation comes in line with the ministry’s efforts to promote environmental awareness and spread the culture of resource conservation among various segments of society. The ministry offers a range of activities and events that combine awareness and entertainment, targeting visitors of all age groups, with the aim of enhancing their awareness of the importance of protecting the environment and conserving its resources.
In this context, Mr. Farhoud Al-Hajri, Director of the Public Relations and Communication Department at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, expressed the importance of the ministry’s participation in the carnival, saying: “This participation is in line with the ministry’s approach to building a generation aware of the importance of the environment and sustainability, and encouraging initiatives that contribute to the conservation of natural resources and the rational use of them.”
He emphasized that the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change is always keen to strengthen cooperation with various entities concerned with the conservation of natural resources and that promote environmental sustainability practices.
The carnival brings together different entities in the country, all striving to spread the culture of sustainability in innovative ways, providing meaningful content that enhances values of cooperation with nature and environmental preservation.
